What We Believe

The Bible is our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice. Our Statement of Fundamental Truths is intended simply as a basis of fellowship among us (i.e., that we all speak the same thing, 1 Corinthians 1:10 [KJV/NIV]; Acts 2:42 [KJV/NIV]). The phraseology employed in this Statement is not inspired nor contended for, but the truth set forth is held to be essential to a full-gospel ministry. No claim is made that it covers all Biblical truth, only that it covers our need as to these fundamental doctrines. We believe the Bible has the answer to every human need. That begins with four core beliefs that are basic to Scriptural principles-salvation, divine healing, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

1.  We believe the Bible to be the God inspired, infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim. 3: 15-17.2 Pet. 1:21)

2.  We believe that there is only one true God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; revealed as the eternal, self-existent Divine Creator and Redeemer of man. (Isa. 43: 10,11; Matt. 28: 19)

3.  We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. His virgin birth sinless life, miracles, His vicarious and atoning death on the cross through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, and exaltation to the right hand of God, the Father. (Luke 1: 3 5)

4.  We believe that because of Man's voluntary transgression both physical and spiritual death incurred and man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. (Rom. 10:13-15; Eph. 2:8; Titus 2:11;3:5-7)

5.  We believe in the Ordinances of the Church as evidence of the Spiritual unity all believers (a) Baptism in Water (Rom. 6:4) (b) Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper. (2 Pet. 1:4)

6.  We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial physical evidence of speaking in tongues. followed with the enduement of power for Godly living and service and the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1: 4-8)

7.  We believe that Christians are required to live a separated (from evil) life dedicated to God. (Rom. 12: 1-6)

8.  We believe that divine healing is part of redemption's purchase and is God's will for all who believe. (Isa. 53:4-5; Matt 8: 16-17)

9.  We believe in the rapture of the church (1 Thess. 4:16-17) and the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on the earth, the Millennial Reign of Christ. (Rev. 1:7; 19:11-14; 20:1-6; Matt. 24:27)

10.  We believe in the final judgment in which the wicked dead are judged and consigned to everlasting punishment. (Matt. 25:46) And the Christian's reward, a new heavens and a new earth. (2 Pet. 3:13)
