Promise Keepers: Men's Small Group Bible Study Print E-mail
Men's Ministries

Men's Small Group Bible Study held the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month at 8:00 AM.

Servant Leadership in our homes, churches, cities, and the world!

Men, you know we're in a war.  The battle is for personal integrity, for our families, our cities, and for cultures all around the world.  Yet the weapons of our warfare are not worldly or physical (2Cor 10:4).

We fight this battle as "servant-leaders"; we're a different kind of warrior, this warrior leads by example and by serving.  Jesus said the greatest among you would be your servant (Matt. 23:11).  When we war against the enemy of our souls, we go equipped for warfare (Eph. 6:10-18).  But when we go to his victims, we go ready to heal - as servants.

Are you this kind of man?  Promise Keepers has led the world in men's ministries since the early 1990's.  But now, more than ever, we realize that local men in 365 day ministry are keys to victories.  That's why we're empowering and resourcing men who believe that "Real Men Matter."

Join us for fellowship and / or bible study on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM.

The new year brings changes to Calvary Temple Church Men's Ministry.  At a special meeting on January 9, 2010 Rev. Frank Meehan was elected by the men to serve as the new Men's Ministry Leader (President).  "We are excited about the goals Frank has set for the CTC Men's Ministry," said Pastor Rimer, "I look forward to seeing what the men of Calvary Temple Church can be accomplished for Jesus Christ this year."  This is Frank's second time to serve in this position; he previously served for about 2 years.  Frank also is heavily involved in prison ministry and has been featured on Cornerstone TV numerous times.  He currently ministers to more than 130 prisoners through Cornerstone TV

We would like to thank Rick McClellan, the outgoing Men's Ministry Leader, for the great job he did and his faithful service.  He will continue to serve in the CTC Men's Ministry as Vice President.  Rick is also involved in prison ministry, media ministry, and is on CTC's Church Board.

Tom Bills will serve as treasurer.  He is also on CTC's Church Board and has volunteered numerous hours assisting in the building of the retaining wall this past summer.  Tom is currently assisting in CTC's latest project, the remodeling of the 4 unit apartments located at 15 Harriott Ave, which are to be low income apartments.

The mission of CTC Men's Ministry is to provide men with resources to develop godly character, and to equip them to influence their world for Christ. Becoming a Christian is not a destination; it is the beginning of a life-long journey.  We ask you to prayerfully and seriously consider God’s will in ministry to the church. According to God’s Word, every believer is a minister who stands under divine orders to contribute ministry to the life of the church, as Paul outlines in
Eph. 4:11-16.

promise keepersIn today’s culture, it is increasingly important for men to honor God with their hearts and their lives. We want to help men in the journey and answer any questions that they may be facing.  The mission of the Calvary Temple Church Men’s Ministry is to biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, church, and places of business.

Though our Promise Keepers Small Group Fellowship we hope to develop men in Christian living using the most effective means to impact the world, making a positive difference in this generation and generations of the future.
