Editors Note:  I should have had this article published about month ago, but I misplaced part of the information.  Better late than never.  Curtis

Picture1   Last year's Christmas program, "Jesus Messiah" at Calvary Temple Church was a huge success thanks primarily to the efforts of Pastor Sue Rimer, Bobbie Smith, and Mark Witmer. There were over 75 people in attendance at the annaul Christmas program held on December 20, 2009.

The program started off with a presentation by CTC's Sunday School children led by Bobbie Smith.   Every year the children are an enjoyment to watch as they sometimes can go off script and have a way of "improvising".  Many in our congregation said that this was the best children's program that they had seen in a long time.

Next were specials from Kathy Perret, Eileen Ebbert, Cindy Meddock, Joann Francis, Phyllis & Mark Witmer, and Carolyn Bills.  The Calvary Temple Church Praise Team led the congregation in a few Christmas Carols and presented a special arrangement called "Jesus Messiah".  The Praise Team always puts alot of effort and practice into preparing for the annual Christmas Program.  Those on the Praise Team are:  Mark & Phillis Witmer, Joann Francis, Cyndi Meddock, Carolyn Bills, and Kathy Perrett.  I am sure if you have ever attended our annual Christmas Program, you'll agree that it's always a treat to hear the wonderful voices and music from those who attend CTC .

Of course it goes without saying, we want to thank everyone who participated in our 2009 Christmas program that were listed above and the following who were not:  musicians - Jim Welch and Mark Witmer, sound team - Rick and Rose McClellan, video - Curtis Rimer, and those who filled treat bags.

At the end of the Christmas program, Pastor Rimer thanked all those who participated and those in attendance. Treat bags and calendars were handed out to everyone.
