Men, you know we're in a war.  The battle is for personal integrity, for our families, our cities, and for cultures all around the world.  Yet the weapons of our warfare are not worldly or physical (2Cor 10:4).

We fight this battle as "servant-leaders"; we're a different kind of warrior, this warrior leads by example and by serving.  Jesus said the greatest among you would be your servant (Matt. 23:11).  When we war against the enemy of our souls, we go equipped for warfare (Eph. 6:10-18).  But when we go to his victims, we go ready to heal - as servants.

Are you this kind of man?  Promise Keepers has led the world in men's ministries since the early 1990's.  But now, more than ever, we realize that local men in 365 day ministry are keys to victories.  That's why we're empowering and resourcing men who believe that "Real Men Matter."

Children are of great value to the Lord and to our church. A child's spiritual formation is so crucial for adult life.  The vision that fuels our work in Children’s Ministries grows out of Jesus’ words in Mark 10:14, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” In the midst of a consuming ministry to adults, Jesus regularly ministered to children. We believe the future of the church depends on effective ministry to children today.

   The nursery is available for infants and toddlers up to age two on Sunday Morning and age four all other services.  Some church activities also have nursery available.

   On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings the children join us in the main sanctuary for worship, but following this, they are dismissed to their own services.

Weekly small group bible study for students in grades 6 - 12

   In today's society, youth are really looking for answers. They have a void in their lives that can be filled only by Jesus. Youth need to know that God loves them, and that only through a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ are they going to be able to experience the full extent of His love.

The purpose of Fusion Youth Ministry is to reach the curious, the fun-seekers, the non-interested and the secular--to expose our students to Jesus Christ in a positive way and see them accept Christ and be nurtured and fed in order to mature in Christ.

When the disciples got their heads out of the clouds and realized Jesus was gone, His final words must certainly have echoed in their minds—"Go into all the world and make disciples…." Were they up to the challenge? Less than 3 years had passed since that day by the Sea of Galilee when Jesus called out to the first among them—"Come, follow me…." It was evident, even at Jesus’ ascension, that they were in desperate need of the boldness and insight of the Holy Spirit, yet the implications of Jesus parting command were quite clear—they would soon be doing with others what He had done with them. Call it what you will—what happened in the lives of Jesus’ followers between the call to come and be, and commission to go and make—it was discipleship in its purest form. 

   Women have been a vital part of the ongoing ministry of Calvary Temple Church since its humble beginnings in a renovated storeroom at 408 Seneca Street over 50 years ago.  Their ministry has touched areas of our entire church with a multiplicity of emphases and focuses…including prayer, Bible study, missions, hospitality (providing meals to families or helping in the kitchen), benevolence, ministry to both young girls and senior adults, & fund-raising.

   Women today fill a variety of roles:  friend, wife, grandmother, business woman, student, corporate leader, volunteer helper.  Women's  Ministries exists to promote a growing relationship with Jesus Christ for women and build fellowship with one another.  We strive for ladies to have an opportunities to get away from everything and have a time of fellowship and devotion.  Women's Ministries of Calvary Temple Church provides opportunities for service, helps, pastoral support ministry, and hospitality.

Our mission is taken from the words of Jesus, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes Me" (Mark 9:37). We want to serve Jesus as we welcome your little ones in His name. We want to serve these little ones, knowing that nursery is likely to be their first experience of the love of God through the body of Christ. We want to serve you, the parents, by giving you the opportunity to worship with the freedom of knowing that your children are being well–cared for.

   In order to provide the best experience for baby we ask that you please bring a diaper bag. Your diaper bag should contain the following items:  (3-4 diapers, a bottle, a bib, a complete change of clothes, and a sweater and socks (during cool days).  Please put your Childs name on any bottle or snacks.
